Dr Mehrdad Tabrizi

Prior to joining LGC, Mehrdad gained extensive international senior leadership experience in various senior global leadership roles within biopharma and life sciences, including Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for a global corporation focusing on innovative technology in energy materials, chemical, environmental solution, optoelectronics, and oligonucleotide therapeutics & manufacturing.  Mehrdad led therapeutics development teams in the US and Japan, working in partnership with the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. 

Mehrdad also has extensive experience in M&A and post-merger integration, operating and growing global companies, driving efficiency, customer loyalty, and ensuring effective branding and marketing strategies are in place.  Mehrdad has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering with focus on Modelling and Simulation from the University of California Davis.
